BlueBehavior's Corona response started with two LinkedIn articles on Remote Leadership and Taking Training Online respectively, and has been followed up with a sequence of rapid response projects reaching thousands of leaders and individuals across the world.
The materials, cases and roadmap summarized on this page are meant as free inspiration for existing partners only.

LinkedIn Articles
The first about leadership at a distance from March 1st, the other on moving training online from March 25th. The last, about the last 15 minutes before going live with any remote event is from June 10th.

On Saturday March 14th, Denmark went in to Corona lock down, making travelling impossible. The following 8 weeks where planned to be the bussiest ever with events in Holland, France, South Korea, Japan, China, Germany and the US. All these were postponed and/or moved online, where BlueBehavior's long experience in virtual classes have helped individual leadership teams and whole organizations to perform remotely.
Alstom
Alstom employs a global network of 600+ trainers that supports local projects on high-speed trains, trams and metros.
Scheduled trainings had to be moved online without delays, requiring a quick application of the corporate toolbox already in place.
Focus on where to meet and how to engage was experienced by the participants in the 17 sessions, not just in hi-visual slides but more importantly in Klaxoon interactions, where follow-up missions have lead to a continued corporate engagement.
Learning points
- Consider both where and how remote work is done
- Experiment with new ways of audience engagement
Takeaway
Takeaway needed a way to inspire 4.500 employees and 400 leaders in new ways of working from home - and leading those who do work from home!
Two webinars and a total of 10 sessions with a capacity of 950 seats in each were deployed within two weeks. Each session lasted 90 minutes + Q&A. With 40% completing the evaluation, the Net Promoter Score came out at robust 36.
The video here shows the participants' own words as they summarize the webinar during the closing rituals inside Mentimeter.
Learning points:
- Large scale rapid reaction is possible
- Webinars must be interactive and enjoyable
Remote Event Roadmap
Recent projects, consultations and feedback from thousands(!) have revealed the need for a remote roadmap that highlights critical considerations and decisions on the way from realized need to professional remote deployment - be that of team meetings or large scale trainings, events or tradeshows.
The embedded Miro board below offers a path through these considerations - please click, zoom and pan from left to right. The board is offered as a work in progress rather than waiting for perfection; please use button below for full view and co-creation options. The Remote Event Roadmap will be expanded through the month of May, linking it up with illustrations, articles and services. For help right now, send a mail to schedule a personal walkthrough based on the challenges your team/project/organization faces.
For unknown reasons - perhaps memory? - the embedded board may display incompletely, and some connectors may be missing. The progression from left to right remains fairly clear, and likely the board will be worth a closer examination in full screen.
To get the complete picture and to add your own comments and questions, please use the button below. You can engage anonymously, or you may register with Miro (free) to enjoy additional interactions and leave all kinds of requests and feedback for me and other co-creators.

LeapCards.net
International programs for global organizations like Ørsted, Van Oord and Hager Group have leveraged BlueBehavior's unique leadership postcards since 2017 - click here for the public introduction to the cards.
As visual building blocks, the cards offer a personal and non-linear way of summarizing and sharing essential learning, making the application and dissemination of new insights easier and faster for the participant.
In the fall of 2018, BlueBehavior began converting the cards to a digital format, starting with the most important models. The Corona virus have now accelerated, what had been delayed by live projects.
Please visit www.LeapCards.net, skim the home page and click on the LeapCard logo to open the library of cards now available with a brief video introduction.
LeapCards for Remote Leadership
Remote or distance leadership is everything required by conventional leadership - only harder due to limited communication. As such all cards and concepts apply to the post-Corona world, however some more than others. Below are three examples, the first two with direct link to their corresponding page on LeapCards.net.
All LeapCards come with additional videos, interactions, articles and real-life experiments. These are presently added to online B2B courses where the participant is required to integrate his or her team in real-life application of each card; without live feedback from the team there will be no progress -- and no certificate!
Proven Pilots, Ready to Deploy.
Last but not least: An opportunity to test all the knowledge driving the results above in a ready-to-run list of workshops that may be tested individually, or offered sequentially as a complete turn-key remote leadership program called ReLead.
UPDATE: ReLead now available in consortium format, combining the best from of in-company focus with open-program inspiration.
Top7 Workshops
For immediate deployment, the sum of experiences, formats and materials above have been refined in to the seven online workshops below:
Topics
- Team & Process – appreciating new ways of working
- Remote Leadership – staying connected & productive
- Leading Self – values, purpose, work/home life balance
- Leading Other – communication, delegation and follow-up
- Leading Teams - creating performance across cultures
- Leading Business – leading projects and change
- Commitment – personal application and plan
Several of these can be broken in to a finer level of granularity, each with just a few LeapCards and a duration of 45-90 minutes.
ReLead
The same seven workshops have been expanded in to a full seven session program called ReLead - as in being Remote and Reinveting your leadership, now!
ReLead is prepared for 12-16 participants, working in buddy-teams of 4, all with good English. Brief intake and outtake surveys with optional closing quiz for certification. The ReLead program is designed to be completed within a three month window, offering the seven half-day modules with buddy-meetings in between to share experiences and complete assignment for plenary.
The ReLeadNow platform is a mix of several tools; all licensed and included by BlueBehavior. The list includes GoToTraining, Typeform, Thinkific, and Klaxoon, and, of course, the LeapCards.
ReLead classes are now formed as consortium classes with buddy-groups from 3-4 companies each. Open enrollment beings in the fall.
